Rocco Forte Hotels Launches Dedicated Travel Agents' Website

As part of the company’s ongoing commitment to the travel trade, Rocco Forte Hotels has launched a new website dedicated to the travel agent community, www.rfctraveltrade.com

The website has been designed to provide a one-stop shop for travel agents wanting to book or find out further details about any of the Rocco Forte Hotels properties.   Travel agents will now be able to access step-by-step information on the following areas:
• Booking via GDS – featuring all Rocco Forte Hotels’ property codes, currently bookable under the LW Chain code.
• GDS help desk – providing a helpdesk telephone number, email and online registration form in case of any technical issues or questions.
• Booking via voice – providing the numbers for Rocco Forte Hotels’ toll-free global voice reservation offices.
• Commission – information on receiving commission through World Payment Systems.
• Regional offices – contact details for all the Rocco Forte Hotels’ regional offices worldwide.

Additional features include an online image library, downloadable brochures in PDF format and hotel fact sheets.

Rocco Forte’s Global Director of Sales Mark Allvey said, “Travel agencies and the travel specialists within them play an extremely crucial role in our business.  In many ways, they are the ‘front line’ sales team with an immense choice to offer their clients.  We recognise the importance of this sector and are making great strides to ensure we arm them with the right information and product knowledge, allowing them to recommend Rocco Forte Hotels with confidence.”

The site will also provide a valuable resource later on in the year when the company is due to launch its own GDS code.

At the end of July 2007, the company will be rebranding to The Rocco Forte Collection and the new travel agents’ website is part of this process.   The aim of the name change is to reflect how far the brand has come in ten years and the fact that, like ‘collectables’, all nine (soon to be 14 hotels) are individual in character and style but are linked by the company’s brand values of elegant design and attentive personalised service.
