New Finance Director for Rocco Forte Hotels
The Rocco Forte Collection is delighted to announce the appointment of David Munns as Group Finance Director. David will join the company on 4th May and will become a member of the Management Board, which oversees the operations of the group. He will also be a director of Rocco Forte's joint venture company with Bank of Scotland.
David is currently Chief Financial Officer at The Financial Times Publishing Group, where he is responsible for the Financial Times, other FT international publishing businesses and a number of joint ventures. He has been with the Pearson group of companies since 1995. Prior to that he worked for Ernst & Young and KPMG. He is a graduate of University College London, where he studied law, and has an executive MBA from the University of Chicago.
Commenting on the appointment, Sir Rocco Forte said, 'I am delighted to welcome David to the company. He joins us at an exciting time when our existing portfolio and our brand have started to establish themselves well within the marketplace, and a number of new developments are already underway or being discussed. He has valuable experience in financial matters both in the UK and mainland Europe and will be a strong addition to our top team.'

David Munns replaces Kash Chandarana, who is leaving the company after six years to provide fund and asset management for international hotel developments.
