Rocco Forte Hotels in the Fast-Track
The Rocco Forte Collection is one of the fastest-growing companies in the country. It qualified in the top 100 companies ranked by sales growth in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100, published on 7th December 2003.
Sales in the year ended 30th April 2002 grew to £63.7 million, an average annual increase of 63% over the three-year period covered by the survey.
Commenting on the achievements, Sir Rocco Forte, Chairman and Chief Executive, said: 'This survey covers a very demanding time for the hotel industry and so to make it into the top 100 companies is a great achievement. What's more, we have continued our rapid growth with sales reaching £73 million in the year ended 30th April 2003 and are hoping to pass £90 million in the current year. The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 has been published annually since 1997 and is the definitive league table of Britain's fastest-growing unquoted companies. The table lists those independent companies which have been in business for at least four years from 1996 and have demonstrated the fastest-growing sales over the past three years. The final 100 companies were selected from one million businesses in the UK.
